If we set ourself to achieve a target, more than the result the thing that really matters is the journey and path we took to achieve that.

अधूरे ख्वाब
सिमट कर रह गई है ये जिंदगी कागज़ के टुकड़े के लिए

What brings downfall?
Power,
a great word isn’t it. However, have you ever wondered what could it do if not
used wisely? It is a thing that builds a person but simultaneously it has the
ability to cause destruction of the person(s) as well. A famous saying by
Edward Abbey “Power is dangerous, power attracts the worst and corrupts the
best” defines its nature very well.
Decline
or downfall is sudden destruction of a person or organization that might result
in loss of power, health and wealth. What is well flourished at present, might
evade in some way that no one even remembers. If we talk in the language of
science, there is a law of equilibrium, according to which it is in the nature
of everything to remain in equilibrium. Therefore, in scientific terms, we can
assume that demolition is also required to maintain a balance in the ecosystem.
However, self-destruction is quite different from natural destruction. While
natural degradation is a necessity, the person himself invites self-destruction.
It is the feeling of superiority or power over others that makes a person
prioritize himself over others. Sometimes a person’s strengths might also lead
to its destruction.
If
you see examples from history, where well-flourished culture, dynasties have evaded.
What I could understand by reading many texts that it is the extra power or
ability that makes someone to consider itself as superior to another, drags a
particular thing to its degradation. A great example lies in front of us is the
decline of the great Roman Empire, which was a result of misuse of powers. Although
they were far ahead and advanced from others in every aspect, those powers and
the feeling of superiority made the rulers believed that they could conquer
anything in the world, but who knew it would lead to their destruction. Another
example is the deterioration of the Mughal Empire in India, who were once hard
to defeat. There are a lot of other examples where the feeling of dominance
over others lead to the destruction of many empires, organizations and even
many individuals who were once used to be very strong. Possession of certain
power or resources induces the person to change his habits and make him
restless if his desires aren’t fulfilled. What I learned from so many examples
is that a person who is hardworking and determined actually leads to success
and fame, but the person who has received success or fame in ready to use
condition without much effort is the one who is responsible for its
destruction. Since he does not know the amount of struggle and hard work has
been devoted. Very few individuals have the ability to sustain what his/her ancestors
have created for them.
It could be concluded
that power does not make anyone stronger or famous, using it prudently does. Therefore,
if you think you have power over something use it wisely. There is always
something much greater, someone better to replace the past. Never forget it is the
qualities that make a person to be remembered over time.

The journey to the destination will be the same.
I reach a destination, the travel for another begins
I keep moving, only destination changes.....
